HCBN.ID is the first satellite television ministry dedicated to sharing Adventist messages in Indonesia. The ministry began in January 2011 during the Faithcamp event held in Jakarta. During this gathering, missionaries from Jesus for Asia presented messages of hope and inspiring stories from the mission frontline. Deeply moved by the call to mission work in Indonesia, Ramon Tengkano felt impressed to participate in the newly formed outreach through media ministry.

 

At that time, Ramon and his wife, Shandy, were both seeking spiritual revival. They opened their home to host the missionaries and support television production activities, marking the beginning of a life-changing journey of faith and service.

 

In March 2011, HCBN.ID officially began satellite broadcasting. Since then, the number of viewers responding to the programs has continued to grow, reaching audiences across Indonesia and beyond.

 

Over the years, the television ministry has expanded into various forms of outreach. Mission teams have been sent to teach, provide healthcare, and support educational initiatives. The ministry has also assisted in building churches, houses of worship, and medical clinics to serve local communities.

 

In late 2021, HCBN.ID launched an Aviation Program with one aircraft, with the vision of supporting the transportation of mission workers to remote and underserved regions. We continue to pray that this program will strengthen and expand mission efforts wherever help is needed most.
