Our Center of Influence has become a place of refuge for people from many different backgrounds. Earlier this year, a young woman approached us in need of a safe place to spend the final months of her pregnancy. Without hesitation, we opened our doors and were grateful to provide her with room and board free of charge, asking for nothing in return—not even her labor or personal time.

She knew our home was one where we worship the God of the Bible, a God she did not yet know personally. Yet our desire was not to compel her to believe as we do, but to reflect Christ's love through hospitality and kindness. She was welcomed, respected, and free to continue her own faith journey.

Shortly after giving birth to a healthy baby girl, she moved on to begin a new chapter in her life. We praise God that both mother and daughter are doing well. Our prayer is that the seeds of God's love planted during her stay will continue to grow, and that in His perfect timing, He will lead them into a loving church family where they can continue their spiritual journey. This experience reminds us that ministry often begins with something as simple as opening our doors. Sometimes the greatest witness is not found in our words, but in our willingness to love without expecting anything in return. Would we be willing to open our homes, our hearts, and the blessings God has entrusted to us for the sake of a stranger?
